SPS International School was founded in 2009 under the aegis of S.P.S Educational Society .It is CBSE affiliated Co-educational , Day school situated in the small town named Begowal of Distt. Kapurthala, Punjab (India) serving approx. 300 students from Pre- Nursery to Grade 10th grade located near Gurudwara Sant Prem Singh ji, Murale Wale.

SANT BABA PREM SINGH JI ( MURALE WALE )
SPS International School is named under our most Hon’ble Sant Prem Singh ji ,who was born in the year 1882 at Khodi Dunna Singh , Distt. Gujrat ( Presently in Pakistan) . His mother name was Mata Nihal Kaur and Father’s name S. WasavaSingh ji .
He played a major role in the upliftment of the weaker section of society by educating them and introducing social reforms .
He champion the education of children by opening many schools in the remote areas like :
Tanda , Distt. Gujrat in 1921
Babakwalin Distt. Shekhupura in 1944
Khodi Dunna Singh , Distt. Gujrat in 1945
BhatnuraLubana , Distt. Jalandhar in 1946
88 Chak Multan in 1947
After the partition of Punjab , those schools were reopened by Sant Prem Singh ji in East Punjab in order to fulfil the needs of his people and for the development of their areas.
He was also active in Punjab Politics . He was quite active member of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) . He contested the elections of Punjab Legislative Assembly in 1937 and 1946 from Gujrat and Shahpur ( A Sikh ruling Constituency) and he was elected with remarkable margin and lead twice . He remained member of Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee ( S.G.P.C., Sri Amritsar ) From the year 1922- 1950 and also remained the member of it’s Executive Committee in the year 1937 & 1948 resp.
His educational Programme was further taken up by his brother Bawa Harnam Singh ji . He re-established S.P.S. Khalsa High School, Begowal in 1955 . He did very remarkable work by establishing two Govt. Aided Colleges in 1969 named S.P.S.KhalsaKaramsar College , Begowal&Guru Nanak Prem Karamsar College , Nadala.
